Hello everyone....
First, sorry about not regularly posting! I try.. but, often fail. As you know... I tend to do a lot of different things.
1) Web Design, now managing 40 + sites
2) Graphics for www.speciesnutrition.com
--- check out our new ads in ALRI and All Natural BB
3) Choreography , taking Dance Classes at a Studio in Huntington, NY called Variations
4) Hair / Make up
5) Music editing
6) Personal Training -- very select clients
7) ONLINE nutrition clients -- either contest prep, Type 1 diabetes, HIV/ AIDS, and most recently Celiac and Gastroparesis
8) Nutrition Seminars for Bayer, Merck, and Elli Lilly
And I wish that was all I do... but, there is more! So, hence the lack of time to post! But, with the Arnold Classic fast approaching... I am going to find more time to keep you informed on my progress.
First... I got the INVITE!!!! YEAH! You never know... I loved being on stage last year and was so excited to have the opportunity again. I hope to make top 10 this year... that would be incredible for me. The line up is once again... fantastic.
I have a great idea for a posing routine and already have my music and posing suit idea underway. It will of course be a surprise... but, it should be fun! That is my favorite part of the whole show... the NIGHT SHOW.
I was in Detroit for 8 days this past Christmas. It was fantastic. I loved being home and spending time with my family and especially my neice, now just 2.5 years old. She is simply adorable. I love her to death. I miss watching her grow up. Every time I see her she just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I needed to be there... and it felt good to be home. I did however, GET SICK. I don't know what happened... could have been something I ate, but still not sure. I am just glad it only lasted 24 hours.
I did have a cheat meal on Christmas... they left me alone with the COOKIE plate. It was insane. That was my last treat............now with only less than 9 weeks to go.... I have to be GAME ON the whole way.
I am training with two great guys out here on Long Island. They are totally firing me up. I love it. I can't even tell you about out leg workout the other day... let's just say, It was INSANE. I am hoping for some improvements this year in that area.
On another note... I am getting SYNVISC injections on my Left Shoulder. You might be more aware of this being done in Knees and Ankles.. but, I am having it done on my shoulder. It helps with Osteoarthrits.. which is what I have ... in both shoulders.. but, more so on my left. I had my second one today and just one more next week.
I am hoping for a more pain free training experience to the Arnold. I can't tell you how much I wish I didn't let my ego rule my training in year prior.... it really catches up to you.
But... I am really excited about this contest prep and look forward to the upcoming weeks and the ARNOLD.
Lastly... I will also be doing the NY PRO.. once again on the schedule. So, let's hope for an invite... hopefully at one of these shows.
Or.. it is on to the TAMPA show.
